We are delighted to officially launch our new revamped website. Our web address remains the same Castletownbere Gaa

It is also a great honour to have the Vice-Chairperson of Cork GAA,Tracy Kennedy, with us to launch the site. We hope you will enjoy keeping up to date with the club events and matches.

You can now follow the live match reports by logging on to the Twitter link on the home page or by scrolling down and following the tweets.

We will have news reports on club happenings, match updates, fixtures and pictures.

We have a great mix of old photos and we would like to expand on this.If you have any old club photos you would like to include, please let us know and we will include them and return them to you.

We hope you enjoy the modern layout and easy to use features of our revamped website. We will also be adding new features as we go along, so please keep an eye on the site and feel free to give us any feed back. If you have  any other ideas on how to improve how we communicate with our loyal “Town” supporters, please let us know.

As always, behind every web site there is a huge amount of work needed. I would like to say a huge thank you to Aaron Byrne of The Web – Castletownbere for his hard work and patience in creating the site. I would certainly recommend him to anyone who is thinking of creating a website for their business.

A big thank you to the Senior Committee for providing various information along the way and to my assistant PRO: Sinead Murphy Whelan who is a great help and writes up the reports for the matches. We would like to acknowledge and thank Castletownbere Cóiste na nÓg committee, trainers, helpers and parents  for all the great work they do with the underage and in particular, Denise Power,secretary, for her work in providing information on underage games.
