Beara J2 Football Semi Final Castletownbere v Glengarriff decided by a penalty shootout

The Beara JB Semi Final was decided last night on a penalty shootout. Unfortunately Castletownbere lost out 4 – 2 . Hard luck to Town and well done to Glengarriff. A fantastic game of football Castletownbere led 2.8 to Glengarriff’ 9 pts at half time. Glengarriff fought back and leveled the game with the full time score 2.13  Glengarriff 0.19 and the game went into extra time.

A single point separated the team at half time of extra time Castletownbere leading 2.15 to Glengarriff 0.20.

When the final whistle blew to finish extra time the sides were again deadlocked Castletownbere 2.17 Glengarriff 0.23
