U10’s Beara Championship Town v Adrigole

Castletownbere U10’s played Adrigole in Adrigole last Wednesday evening. Many people who witnessed this game of football agree with this observer that it was one of the best games of football played at any level in Beara in 2015 to date. When one cosiders the participants were under 10, it had everything. Blocking, high fieldind, end to end flowing football, goal mouth excitement, honest endeavour and served up by two teams who  committed themselves to deliver up a cracker. All the skills of gaelic football were on display and the game was played at a very fast tempo.  It was so frenetic and enthralling that one could not take your eyes off the game. Great credit is due to the players from both sides and we are particularly proud of the town lads who put such a positive performance. The big winner on the night was the future of Beara football.
