Annual Sponsored Walk
Our sponsored fun walk started at Droum Pitch and we went around the Talon Road we even got a sprinkle of snow along the way. Everyone went back to the club house for hot drinks juice and biscuits. Each child got presented with an Easter egg kindly sponsored by Basil and Colette Murphy our walk was a great success. Castletownbere Coiste na nOg would like to extend a huge thanks to the sponsors, Children, parents nana’s, grandad’s aunty, uncles and pets that came along too.

U14 West Cork League
Castletownbere u-14s faced Adrigole in the first round of the West Cork League earlier today. Played under a strong influence of the son of “the beast from the east”, Adrigole with home advantage took a foothold on this game from the beginning , and never relinquished it until the final whistle This being the first round gives the Castletownbere lads a chance to regroup and use this game positively as a learning experience for the season ahead.

Castletownbere u-12s opened their season with a keenly contested friendly game against Beara ladies U-14 .both teams demonstrated great enthusiasm and endeavor, and a very fruitful season lies ahead for both these sides judging from today’s entertaining and free-flowing fixture.
