Castletownbere News: Town 1st Round of League, Beara in Senior Schools Final, Sympathies to Hegarty Family

Cork take on Mayo in the first round of the League tomorrow (Sunday 31^st) at 2pm and with Andrew O Sullivan a member of team and Morgan O Sullivan and Peader Healy all involved in management, we like to wish them all and  Cork the best of luck this year.

The football season gets under way for Castletownbere Intermediates on Saturday next (6^th February) with their first game in Division 3 League. Town v St. Michael’s in Droum at 3pm. Come along and support the team. We would like to wish the team and their Manager Donal O Sullivan and his selectors the best of luck for the season.

Beara Community School take on Newcastlewest, Limerick in the Senior Schools Munster Final (D) this match takes places in Dr. Croke’s in Kilarney on Saturday 6^th February at 12.30pm again your support would be very much appreciated.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish all the teams the best of luck.

The Club would also like to extend their sympathies to our treasurer Martin and his wife Rose and all the Hegarty family on the sad passing of Rose’s mum Gerogina Crowley … Ar dhéis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
