Beara Junior C Match Castletownbere v Bere Island

Castletownbere and Bere Island played the Junior C Beara Championship final on Saturday last in Droum.

A great game of football,  well done to all who togged out for both clubs. Some photographs of the day and presentation below. The presentation was held in Twomeys bar & we would like to thank Conor Twomey for his generous sponsorship. 

All donations of the day went to the Keith Hegarty recovery fund. The cheque of €2,400 was presented to Keith’s father Martin, who has given so much to the Castletownbere Club and indeed to Beara as a referee over the years. Everyone in Castletownbere Gaa would like to wish Keith a speedy recovery and the Hegarty family would like to thank sincerely those who donated so generously on the day.
