Match Report on Minor Match Castletownbere V Baile Bhuirne 

Castletownbere Minors played Baile Bhuirne away on Friday last in the West Region League.Baile Bhuirne were the quicker off the mark scoring a point which was quickly matched by a point from Castletownbere. This tit for tat pattern continued throughout the first half which ended on the score of 2/4 to 1/6 in the home team’s favour. The second half began with both teams on an even keel but then Baile Bhuirne began to pull away and were nine points ahead with ten minutes remaining. Then the ‘Town lads turned it around,made an impressive comeback and reduced the deficit to a point but it was to be the home team that clinched it on the final score of 4/11 to 4/10.
