Junior Town v Tadhg MacCaraigh
Castletownbere Juniors took on Tadhg MacCaraigh in Aughaville on Monday evening in the west region league Playing against the breeze in the first half Castletownbere performed well putting together some attractive football and went in at half time a point down with the score standing at 4 points to 3.
After the break town went ahead with a well taken goal by James Murphy but Tadhg MacCaraigh tacked on a few points and went ahead. Town forced the pace and scored another goal with Seamus Spencer doubling on loose ball to put town in a strong position as the game entered the last quarter.
The home side capitalised on their scoring chances and a goal late on twarted Town who pushed hard to the end. The home team ran out winners by 4 points on a score of 1-13 to 2-6
